Why choose a wordpress server?

Hosting a WordPress website on a shared hosting service will affect the speed of your WordPress website.

Shared hosting services use Enterprise-grade security solutions to ensure the service is secure. By their very nature, with many users using the same server, they often become the target of attacks. The software needed to protect shared hosting servers is bulky and adds additional time when processing requests. Additionally, if you use a control panel like cPanel, you will likely have services running that are not needed. All of these things result in one thing. A slow WordPress website.

Case Study -

Viewed by hundreds of thousands of people a week seeking easy to read guides on server administration. The F2H Blog has been optimized to load almost instantly.

Previously, the F2H Blog was housed on a cPanel server. This included a number of services like Exim, FTP, BIND, cPHulk, to name a few, that where not required for the blog to function. These services add processing time to requests, slowing down the loading of the website. By offloading the Blog to a seperate WordPress NVMe Server we decreased the preassure on the cPanel server and decreased the loading time of blog pages. Now the blog is running on a lean server in London providing excellent loading speeds.

Because it's powered by a high availability server with automatic failover we can guarantee it will be offline for no more than 30 seconds each month.

One FTP account is provided. More can be requested.  You will have access to WordPress and the location of your websites files over FTP. As this is a managed service, customers do not need access to the server.

No. The sole point of this service is speed. Adding additional websites to the server would degrade the performance. We can provide discounts on additional servers.
